Dr. Dong-Jin Shin, DMD, MS
NYC’s prosthodontist (tooth replacement and smile restoration), Dr. Shin has dedicated his work to helping people smile. Originally from Massachussettes, where he completed his dental training at Boston University, Dr. Shin reveals his mastery and passion in treating complex cases involving reconstructive, implant, and cosmetic procedures.
He furthered his study of his craft through a three-year specialty program at New York City’s Columbia University that honed his skills in both the surgical and prosthetic aspects of implant treatment, computer-guided surgery, and conventional veneer, crown, and bridge procedures.
Dr. Shin believes that prosthodontics encompasses all aspects of dentistry and changes people’s lives by improving not only their smile but their overall health and well-being. He stays on top of all the latest trends in the field and is an active member of American College of Prosthodontists, Northeastern Gnathological Society, American Dental Association, and New York County Dental Association.
